We will under normal circumstances fulfil all orders within 4 working days of receiving an order.
Disclaimer
When you buy our goods and services on the internet, you are entering a legally binding contract by completing the ordering process.
Returns
Items should be checked as soon as possible following receipt of goods. Returns will be accpted upto 14 days after the date of purchase. Any returns will be refunded to you within 30 days. Any goods returned with signs of abuse or intentional damage will be refused and returned to the sender at senders' cost.
When returning a faulty or damaged item our preferred method of return is second class recorded delivery. Any refunds to be made on postage will only be applied to that service. Any other service such as special delivery etc will not be totally refunded.
Confirmation of Order
Your order will be confirmed by email normally within 24 hours, but not longer than 72 hours, of receipt of your order over the internet. Credit/Debit card are debited by the person placing the order at the time they place the order, NOT when the goods are sent.
LED light bulbs and lighting products are classed as ‘consumable’ items which mean there is not a requirement to supply a warranty. We do however; supply all of our products with a two year warranty from the date of purchase (unless otherwise stated). All other claims outside this period are at our discretion.
Order Cancellation Following Delivery
If you wish to cancel an order for any item, you are very welcome to return them to us within 7 working days from the day after the day that you receive the goods. Items will only be accepted if they are a) unused and b) in the same good condition that they were delivered in. You will be liable for the return costs of delivery and a full refund for the goods only will be made to you within 30 days of cancellation.
P & P will not be refunded if you choose to return the items which are not faulty or incorrect.
*This complies with the new European Directive on distance selling which is incorporated into UK law by the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000.
Complaints Procedure
Any query or complaint will be dealt with immediately. It will be acknowledged within 48hours and resolved within this time frame whenever possible, but not longer than 30 working days. Please call us on 0116 321 4121 or email support@ledstriplights.co.uk
Delivery
We Aim to keep you informed all the way through the delivery process. Once your order has been received, you will receive an automatic email confirming that we are processing your order and another once the goods have been despatched.
What happens if items go missing in the post?*
If items go missing in the post, Royal Mail terms and conditions state "No claims can be made until 15 working days has passed from the date of posting" after the 15 days has elapsed we will send another order and make a claim at the post office - the second order will be marked "2nd Order" just in case the first one turns up.
*Unfortunately, we are unable to send out duplicate orders if the incorrect address was supplied by the customer. Royal mail will not allow any claims due to a customer’s mistake.
Faulty /missing /incorrect goods

Force Majeure No liability will be accepted by LED Strip Lights for any failure or delay in performance which is wholly or partially due to an Act of God, War, Fire, Explosion, Riot, Civil Commotion, Restriction by Government or other competent authority, Strikes, Lock Outs, Failure in supplies or to any cause whatsoever beyond our control.
Payment & Receipts
Payment is made via credit or debit cards, subject to authority from the card issuer. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Delta, Switch, American Express, Solo or JCB.
We will charge your account within 48 hours of the day of despatch and an invoice will be sent with your order.
Free Shipping Offers
LED Strip Lights.co.uk reserves the right to charge shipping on any returned or unwanted items. Shipping will be charged at the postal rate applied when dispatched.
Returns of faulty items are excluded from the above term.
Value Added Tax
Value Added Tax (VAT) is included in the total price you pay.
Ordering on the Internet
Our online credit and debit card payment processing site is a secure area managed by PayPal.
We would like to reassure you that we take care of the information we collect to fulfil your order, and believe that Internet shopping using a secure server such as PayPal’s is the safest way of placing your order.
Our Rights
We reserve the right to change, modify, substitute or remove without notice any information on this website. Prices, goods and availability of products are subject to change at any time. LED Strip Lights also reserves the right to withdraw its service at any time, to refuse the service to any customer and to amend these Terms & Conditions, all at any time without notice.
Discounts
We reserve the right to adapt our discounts in any way we see fit. Every discount on our website is subject to our control and is strongly enforced. Quantity discounts apply only to an individual item and not a selection of the same item in different colours or selection of several different items in a single shopping cart. Voucher discounts are subject to these terms and conditions also.
Applicable Law
These conditions shall be construed according to and governed by UK Laws.
None of our Terms and Conditions affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
Illegal Acts
It is a crime to use a false information or a known invalid credit card to order any goods. Anyone caught wilfully entering an erroneous or fictitious order will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
Terms and Conditions for the Free Power Adapter Offer
1. Summary:
The Free Power Adapter Offer event at LED Strip Lights is valid in-store and online.
The event start on Friday 18th January and ends in-store and online on Thursday 31st January.
For the duration of the offer, customers who purchase 5 or more metres of single colour or colour changing LED Strip Lights will be able to claim a free power adapter or adapters where the total strip light wattage is higher than 100 (for example, if a customer purchases 10m of 14.4w strip light, they will be entitled to a free 100w and 60w power adapter). In order to claim, customers must place their order over the phone with one of our customer service advisers. Failure to do so will result in no power adapter being sent.
Where a customer is eligible for a free power adapter(s), the power adapter(s) they receive will be that which is applicable to the amount and type of strip light purchased. For example, if a customer buys 5 metres of 4.8w strip light, they will be entitled to a free 30W power adapter. If a customer buys 5 metres of 14.4w strip light, they will be entitled to a free 100W power adapter. Please Note: This offer will not take individual customer requirements into account, i.e. where more than one power supply is needed.
2. Eligibility:
This offer is open to all new and existing customers of LED Strip Lights who have an account with the website.
This offer is closed to employees and family members of employees, of LED Strip Lights and its affiliate companies.
3. Our rights:
LED Strip Lights reserves the rights to terminate or decline a promotion and any promotion benefits at any time without notice.
LED Strip Lights reserves the right to change the terms and conditions of the promotion at any time without notice.
The promotion and any use of the website are subject to the general terms and conditions of the website and the privacy policy terms, as described on the website.
LED Strip Lights's failure to enfore a particular term or condition does not consitute a waiver of the term and condition by LED Strip Lights.
